1 . Cancellations by Learners
  • Notice Period: Learners can cancel a booked course without penalty up to [24 hours] before the scheduled start time.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than [24 hours] before the course start time will result in a charge of [%50], which compensates the instructor for their preparation and lost booking opportunity.

2. Cancellations by Instructors
  • Instructor Responsibility: Instructors are required to notify learners of a cancellation at least [48 hours] in advance, except in cases of emergency.
  • Replacement Sessions: In the event of a cancellation by an instructor, they should offer to reschedule the session at a mutually agreeable time.

  • Eligibility: Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are typically processed in the following scenarios:
  • The instructor cancels a session without offering a suitable replacement.
  • Technical issues from Skylingua.net's side significantly disrupt the session.
  • A learner cancels within the permitted time frame as outlined in this policy.

4. Processing Refunds
  • Timing: Approved refunds will be processed within [7-10 business days] business days and credited back to the original method of payment.
  • Partial Refunds: In certain cases, such as when a course is partially completed or if a late cancellation fee applies, only a partial refund may be issued.


5. Non-refundable Circumstances
  • No-shows: Learners who fail to attend a scheduled course without prior notice are not eligible for a refund.
  • User Dissatisfaction: If the refund request is solely based on the user's dissatisfaction with the course content or teaching style, without any breach of the Terms & Conditions by the instructor, such requests may be denied.

6. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding cancellations or refunds, Skylingua.net encourages direct resolution between the learner and the instructor. If an agreement cannot be reached, Skylingua.net will mediate to find a fair resolution based on the evidence provided by both parties.
